These random subjects of 1a Generalities, 1b Real Estate, 1c Schedule, 1d Location, 1e Space & 1f Demand seem on the face of it, to have very little to do with the subject of Modularisation. They are however major influencers of why Modules are created, the restraints that they suffer and that condition their design and operation. Unless the reasons for Modularisation are understood then however good the Module design may be its whole being may be totaly impractical

The restaints outlined in Section 1 INTRODUCTION as shown above, result in varioius styles of supports for Modules. Sections 2 SUPPORTS Offshore and 3 SUPPORTS Onshore look at the design of supports which in turn also produce restraints on the design of Modules. Sections 4 MODULES Offshore and 5 MODULES Onshore review some of the resulting designs of Modules
